Meet our Team

Rhys Williams has worked in over 20 countries throughout his career and brings his extensive knowledge to MIC in 2021.  Mr Williams has served as a Director for  Transnational Education (TNE) of Victoria University for 9 years, the Executive Manager, International Business Development at Box Hill Institute and more recently as Project Director for Victoria University-Ganpat University Centre of Excellence, Ahmedabad, Gujarat State, in India.  Mr Williams lengthy experience in international articulation agreements and transnational education partnerships will allow MIC to expand across the world into new markets and provide a new and exciting network for students to access Australian education.

Mr Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts, Swinburne University of Technology, Graduate Diploma of Education, Hawthorn Institute of Education, Melbourne, and a Graduate Certificate of Applied Social Research, La Trobe University, Melbourne. He also has a range of industry certificates and qualifications supporting his career.

Gaven Ferguson has been with MIC since 2019 and has experience working for the last 25 years in educational development and design areas for high-end corporate organisations. His work has taken him around the globe designing quality programs that focus on key target areas and requirements. Mr. Ferguson has developed a vast network and partnership with universities and corporates across different geographies.
He is a key advisor to the International Childcare & Education Association and is the President of the World Association of Master Chefs. Mr Ferguson also advises and sits on the boards of several international companies, providing advice on educational matters.

Mr. Ferguson’s extensive qualification list includes a Masters in Marketing Management from Griffith University and a Graduate Diploma in Education From Southern Cross University with numerous other qualifications relevant to his specific abilities. His work with universities has seen him develop degree level programs down to certificate level frameworks used by dozens of organisations over the years. He has developed a deep understanding of assessing talent and helps clients in filling the gap of the requisite workforce.  Mr Ferguson specialises in designing programs for educational institutions and developing programs to suit specific needs.

Yan Sung (Mary) Hyun is the owner and CEO of Mint International College and has been a strong leader for the growth of MIC into new International markets and opportunities.

Her experience ranges over 30 years, with extensive experience in the RTO industry in Australia and abroad. Serving as a Marketing Manager and Project Manager for some of Australia largest Training companies, Mrs. Hyun has also worked as the Public Affairs & Diplomacy Officer for the Foreign Affairs  & Trade Department (DFAT) at the Australian Government Embassy in Seoul Korea for over 10 years.  This connection has allowed Mrs. Hyun to develop major networks across Asia with universities and colleges and has seen her act as an advisor to several Korean Provincial Government committees.

Mrs. Hyun Holds a Masters of Arts in Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts and is a certified Korea to English Interpreter with the National Accreditation Authority for Translation and Interpretation Certification (NAATI). In addition Mrs. Hyun also holds a Certificate in Global Economic Leadership from Yonsei University Korea.

Ms.Hang (Jacey) Nguyen has been with MIC since 2019 and has almost 10 years in Administrative Management and Admissions.  Her experience ranges across several major universities and colleges such as Southern Cross University, AAPOLY, and Baxter Institute.  Ms. Nguyen has developed excellent networks across the Education sector and is a trusted and reliable figure in the International Agent environment.

Ms. Nguyen holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Stott’s College and a Bachelor of Business (Business Administration) from Economics University Ho Chi Minh City. In addition, Ms. Nguyen also holds a Certificate as a Qualified Education Agent Counsellor from Pier.
